HelpDesk Updates Coming in 2016

Hello HelpDesk Framily!

So, 2016 is just around the bend and I am super excited to do some serious updating to our HelpDesk line of tool-kits! With thousands of HelpDesk Compliance Warriors on our rolls, we get feedback asking for particular “help” to be added to the populous job aids and reference pieces. So, thank you for your input. Keep it coming!

overtime ruleIn the last update, we had a new Independent Contractor Determination added to the Payroll module. I added the 15 page memorandum issued by the DOL in June that outlined the clarification of what is expected when calling someone an independent worker, contractor or business. I also made some changes to our Exempt Classification Checklist in the Payroll and HR modules.

For those of you who own the full Suite, you have access to our Audit-Secure Assistant Program (ASAP). You likely noticed we added a Recruiting and Retention Center. Inside this center is a Job Description Builder, tools to help you analyze wages based on national and local wage norms, build core competencies, perform succession planning and much more!

Plus, a few of  you have noticed and been pleasantly surprised with our Special Offer mentioned under Module 5: Closing the Gap. It’s sort of a hidden bonus item for ASAP members.

I can’t exactly tell you everything in our updates coming in 2016 (cuz they’re a secret), but I can tell you we will do the usual form replacements and table updates to bring annual requirements current in all modules.

We will also be updating the webinars in each module. I want the webinars to supply more clarity on how to use the tools in each module to your full benefit. We will be adding new checklists and will begin providing more support for your efforts to write and maintain solid policies and SOPs (Standing Operating Procedures).

Also, in our updates coming in 2016, ASAP members will be invited to attend Complimentary Webinars and/or “Jam” Sessions each month. A Jam Session is basically a coaching call for HR and Payroll personnel. I will issue a topic and ASAP members will send in the questions they would like to see addressed during the session. I will guide the session and be certain your answers are given. Pretty cool, huh!

Also, all ASAP members receive discounts on other programs or trainings we offer. In 2016, we will be beefing up our library and offering more FREE training and nice big discounts on items not included in ASAP.
