Lawsuits decrease employee morale and increase turnover rates, which cause additional hassles for the company.

In this training, we will be discussing (1) hidden traps when terminating “at will” employees; (2) the problem with performance reviews and why you might not want to use them; (3) the importance of separation agreements and when to use them; (4) pitfalls of medical leave and reasonable accommodations under the ADA.

Karly Wannos is a Florida employment lawyer and founder of The Wannos Law Firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL where she helps business and HR professionals engage in preventative steps to boost employee retention, navigate tricky issues under the FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other employment laws, as well as help avoid exposure to wrongful termination lawsuits.

Because of her litigation background, Karly provides many employment law trainings and on-demand employment law courses to business and management teams, and gives free legal webinars through her social media channels.
