The FLSA and various states’ wage payment and pay practice statutes contain requirements that regulate when an employer can apply a tip credit towards tipped employees’ wages, when employers may mandate tip-sharing, and the categories of employees who can receive a share of guests’ tips.

This webinar will provide an overview of the following:

  • Federal and state laws governing tipping
  • Identify a host of hot-button issues under both federal and state law that have resulted in multi-million dollar settlements
